BONORLI

It is a lovely apartment located on the first floor with stunning views from every window over the surrounding Tuscan countryside.  Located on the edge of this attractive hamlet the apartment has two bedrooms comfortably accommodating 4 people.
The house is accessed from the garden via a flight of stone steps.  A door on the left leads into the comfortably furnished lounge with sofa, TV and writing desk.  The main feature of the room is the brick built open fireplace.  The apartment has the traditional Tuscan terracotta tiled floors and tiled and beamed ceilings throughout.

At the far end of the lounge is the well equipped kitchen, which has fitted units with built in oven and gas hob above, a dishwasher and fridge/freezer. To one side there is a wooden dining table with four matching chairs.

To the right of the entrance hall are the two bedrooms one with double bed, the second has twin beds.  The bathroom has a WC, basin and shower.  Next to the bathroom is the utility/laundry room which is where the washing machine is located.

The apartment’s private garden, which has been planted with Mediterranean shrubs, flowers and several young olive trees, has a dining table and chairs -perfect for outdoor entertaining; there are also sunloungers and a parasol.  The hamlets shared swimming pool is only a few steps away.

VILLINO ADEMA 

Villino Adema is a delightful apartment in a villa in Castellina in Chianti. It is ideal if you are looking for a quite residential place to stay without giving up the conveniences of the close town centre.
It consists of large living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large terrace surrounded by some garden. Villino Adema is wheel chair accessible.

This small family-run farm offers its products, which have all been obtained by a certificated organic farming. You may find Chianti wine, extra-virgin olive oil, grappa and nocino.

La Loggia and Belvederi apartments are part of the farm owned by Riccardo, Paola, Francesco, Annita and Lorenzo. Belvederi is a 62 mq. first floor apartment with an independent entrance. It has a double bedroom, a bathroom, a spacious living-room with cooking facilities. In the living room there is a double sofa-bed. A second bedroom and a bathroom have an independent entrance. The bed-spaces are 4+2.
The furnishings are in rustic Tuscan style with few pieces of antique furniture perfectly restored.
Belvederi has bed, and bathroom linen and kitchen clothes that are weekly changed. The kitchenette has 4 gas fires and an electric oven. Pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses are available. The apartment has a washing machine, a dish-washer, a refrigerator whit freezer, air conditioning, heating system, satellite TV, parking, swimming pool and common spaces.

SPINO FIORITO
Spino fiorito apartment is very similar to the Malaspina one.
Located on the second floor, you have access to this accommodation through a hallway. On the right a glass door opens onto a large living/dining room with two windows that make it very bright. Two comfortable armchairs and a couch with an ancient book case supplied  with several books in English, provide an ideal reading area.
Back to the hallway: right on your left, some steps down and you are in one of the 2 large double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower stall, basin, WC and bidet.

I TEMPLARI
Crossing the main ancient door of the palace means “jump back” in the past:   on your left you find one of the two entrances of the charming apartment “I Templari”. Just from the local sandstone portal of this  door there is one of the several signs showing  this building has a magnificent medieval history, in fact  you can notice on its surface, three knight templar crosses.
This door has access to a small hall with complete large shower/WC and right ahead onto the double bedroom.
The second entrance leads you into the living room that boasts an ancient open fireplace and a local sandstone stove.
Straight on, you enter into the country-style kitchen. In front of you, in the corner, there is an old wood oven for oven-baked pizza party, instead the well equipped kitchen with electric oven, 5 rings stove, basin and dishwasher allows you to cook for the people who love. There is also an ancient local sandstone basin that still works. This part of the house may be  considered together with the living room the ex-original  kitchen of the whole Palazzo del Duca.
From the kitchen, through an open arch you have access into another room with a chair-bed that is the walk-in closet of the double bedroom. However, if necessary, it can be used as children bedroom. The apartment has all over vault ceilings that make the atmosphere very warm.

On reuest: a second large bedroom is located on the opposite side of the official entrance of the apartment. This bedroom (35 sqm) with en-suite bathroom has its own entrance from the medieval borgo through two main doors, one ancient beautiful wood door and one wrought iron door with glass panels to provide safety while allowing maximum light to come in.

This apartment breaks the old fashion style of the palace.
On the second floor of the palace, it develops on two levels. On the first one there is the nice coloured brand new kitchen with American style fridge. On the second level you find the living and sleeping area. In the living area a flaming red sofa bed makes a good colour contrast with the oak parquet floor. From the living area a hallway  brings you to the large bathroom and to the double bedroom and to the children bedroom. Again here you find the parquet floor. The loft is enlightened thanks to four skylights, 2 in the living area, 1 in the bathroom, 1 in the double bedroom.

BADIA LOFT

These are the roads to follow for reach the Badia a Passignano: from Florence take the SGC Firenze-Siena (this road start from A1 highway exit Firenze Certosa) direction Siena, exit Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, after this exit turn right, after about 100 mt. you must turn right passed the Pesa bridge, direction Sambuca then after a few kilometres, when you are approaching Sambuca turn on the left direction Badia a Passignano another 2 km and you'll see the beautiful Badia a Passignano.

Apartment La Ginestra (60 sqm) is on the first floor of a newly restored Tuscan house. IL VECCHIO FORNO
The accommodations of Marta have in common the old style of the apartment and the cheap price.
Just a few meters from the Florentine entrance, in a small square  there is the apartment Il Vecchio Forno.
This 45 sqm lovely apartment was the old bakery of the village and it was restored taking care of the ancient characteristics of the medieval village house such as the terracotta floor, old arched celeings and open fire places. It was even left untouched an underground cellar. The apartment Il Vecchio Forno has two entrances: one enter into the kitchen, and the other into the bedroom. It has been furnished with some antique pieces of furniture. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate 4 people and it is well equipped with fridge+freezer, gas stove, and all the cooking tools. TORRETTA
This delightful  apartment is part of the main Villa and it develops on 3 floors.
The entrance is into a drawing room with a beautiful modern fireplace. A few steps ahead and on your left there is a large  Italian marble bathroom with double shower and straight on the liveable functional kitchen.
On the right of the drawing room a stone staircase leads to the sleeping section on the first floor that boasts a double bedroom, 1 little bathroom and a single bedroom with French size bed. From the loggia, on the same floor, you can enjoy an enchanting panorama. This apartment (ground floor)  is set in the main Villa and is a perfect romantic hideway.
Furnished with soft colour elegant pieces, is the good choice for those searching for high level finish, comfort and stylishness. Particular attention must be given to the master double bedroom with a magnificent four-poster bed, that can guest up to 3 persons, thanks to the sofa bed.
The apartment (57sq.mt) is very airy and  consists of large  dining room with kitchen unit,1 bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with  sofa-bed.

VILLETTA
Villetta is one of the 2 detached houses of Poggio Estate. It has been restored  meticulously to a very high standard.
The interiors are elegantly furnished with some Occitan and some traditional Tuscan pieces. They are  scrupulously maintained and thought-out to the smallest detail from the towels to the tablecloths and cutlery. The  matching colours, the preciousness of the furniture and the clothing, make feel  in harmony with the  atmosphere.
The house consists of  2 floors. The entrance leads directly to the drawing room with a magnificent fireplace. The kitchen-dining room can comfortably guest 6 people. From  here you have access to a large private loggia, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the vineyards.
Back to the entrance: on your left you will find a lovely bedroom with bunk-bed. A beautiful cotto stairs  lead  to the bathroom with shower and  to the double bedroom boasting an atmosphere of charm and intimacy.

This impressive ancient palace of the 17th century, also known as Palazzo del Duca, set on the historic main borgo of Tavernelle, was a summer residence of the Podestà and Este Family (Duke of Parma).
Restored in 1991 and renewed in 2008, the palace has its original features, like spacious living areas and terracotta floors,  local sandstone portals and doors and  stunning vaults. It also boasts a wonderful ancient staircase and  in a bedroom there is even a fireplace, a 'must' for all the ancient Lords of the 1700.

The access to Palazzo del Duca is from the main road of Tavernelle.
The palace has a secondary access onto an internal private partially paved garden which provides a peaceful area for relaxing, dining and cooling-off on summer evenings.

DEPANDANCE
From the garden of the palace, you can enter in a lovely detached apartment.
This picturesque little accommodation (approx. 45 sqm) would be a perfect “get away from it all” for a couple searching for privacy and relax. The apartment La Pecorella 2 is part of Agritourism of Federica and has been lovingly restored by the owner, who took great care to preserve many of its original characteristics. Tastefully furnished in Tuscan style the apartment is spacious and airy and there is lots of space for relaxing both inside in the comfortable reading room with ample selection of Italian, English and French books, and outdoors on the panoramic sunny roof terrace. Very romantic with climbing wine pergola, the terrace is also perfect for al fresco dining (barbeque available) and enjoying a spectacular view.
La Pecorella 2 (ground floor) covers  110 sqm  consisting of  well furnished kitchen/dining room, living room, reading room, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 large double bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom with bathtub.
It boasts beautiful parquet floor and original vaulted brick ceilings and free access to the internal courtyard and to the garden.
Two more twin beds and a baby cot are available on request.

La Casina  was restored in 1995 with great care and attention and maintains all its origianl charm. It is on two floors, connected via an internal cotto stair making the house perfect for larger parties. The furnishings are typical Tuscan style and the original terracotta floors and beamed ceilings have all been retained. Some of the whitewashed walls have the original stones exposed and  create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The ground floor consists of:
- a large cosy living room divided in 2 areas by an open brick arch (one offers comfortable sofas and the other, smaller, has a lovely fireplace)
- a spacious, beautiful dining room with open hearth fireplace and very well equipped country style  kitchen.

Living room, kitchen and bedrooms  have glass doors that make them very light and airy. They all open onto well furnished paved terraces or well kept garden spaces.

The first floor consists of:
two spacious double bedrooms, both with private ensuite complete bathrooms, one with bathtub and shower attachment and the second with shower stall.

It enjoys a unique location, private and immersed in nature but very close to towns and the attractions of Florence (65 kms) and Siena (11 kms). The nearest food shops are in Vagliagli, a lovely village only 2 kms away. Castellina in Chianti with all kinds of shops is only 11kms from this Chianti holiday villa.
At your disposal is a large garden furnished with a private 5 X 13.5 meter swimming pool (open from01/06 to 30/09), tables and chairs, a stone barbecue, and a covered parking area.
There are panoramic terraces and various places in the shade of old pine trees for sitting and relaxing

The interior is built on 3 stories and is composed of an entrance hall,  a fully-equipped kitchen - living/dining room with monumental fireplace, satellite TV, stereo with CD player and bar, living room, 5 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedded rooms - 6 bathrooms.

The villa can be rent either to 10 people or 14 people. If 10 people rent it the doors of the ground floor are kept closed.

This cosy apartment is part of a recently restored bar. It was remoled with lots of love and attention to detail. Many of its ancient architectural features, as well as the beautiful terracotta floors and the beamed ceilings have been left untouched. It is tastefully furnished in old Tuscan country style.

The apartment is  located on two stories totalling 85 square meters.
At the ground floor, the large living/dining room, provides a double sofa bed, a couch, satellite TV, french doors open to the big garden making the room very luminous. A shower room/WC includes a washing machine. The kitchenette has another dining area and  is well equipped with dishwasher, oven, 4 ring gas stove, fridge/freezer, etc. There is access to a small sunny patio area furnished with garden table and chairs.
Upstairs there are a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom, (2 beds can be twin or double on request) and a shower room/WC.

The  large shared garden furnished with an above-ground swimming pool (open from 01/06 to 30/09) as well as tables and chairs, lounge chairs and umbrellas, is the perfect place for resting.

In this small family style estate our guests can purchase high quality pecorino cheese and ricotta. In fact the owners of the property live in a restored farmhouse 50 metres from the barn, and produce cheese with the milk from their own sheep.
