Francesco Sarri - Wine Expert
My name is Francesco Sarri and I live in Tuscany. Since 2003 I am a sommelier with a diploma recognized by the Italian state and have always been an attentive taster.
I grew up on a farm in Chianti Classico area, where my father was the wine maker for his whole life. After 55 years work at the modest age of 77 years,
he decided that maybe it was time for him to stop working and enjoy the rest of his life. The scents that I used to smell when I visited him in the cellar as a child
became my great passion: WINE.
I am always curious to discover different kinds of wine but in Italy there are two areas I especially love: Tuscany and Piedmont.
I have many bottles coming from these two regions, some of which are real jewels of my collection.
I do often wine tasting on my own, but I also take part of someone else’s tasting in order to learn and continually improve my knowledge with the humble attitude of
someone who knows that you never stop learning. I am always happy to talk about wine and when I find some wine lovers as I am, I could be very “dangerous” because...
I can not stop talking.. then if it happens you’re entitled to tell me.. "please stop!!!".
Wine Experience is a journey into the world of wine.
The scents of wine, the landscapes, the personal life stories of the wine farmers are essential elements of this trip and I will be there to guide you .
My goal is to help you feel the thrill of discovery, and let you experience the wonderful passage through curiosity to knowledge.
